I’m so confused how docker manage the permissions in volumes. As far as I know, it is not possible to extract files inside a storage account. tar files to be extracted when the admin account is logged in ubuntu permissions tar. So, my question is, how can I restore my volume without this permission issues? tar: Cannot utime: Operation not permitted How do I change the permissions on Azure File Share to allow. I already try to restore the volume using user and group tags (root) in docker command and in the untar command, but no sucess. I’m almost sure this problem is related to permission issues in the process of untar the volume. Cannot utime: Operation not permitted /usr/bin/tar: Exiting with failure.

sudo docker run -rm -volume MY_VOLUME:/data -volume $(pwd):/backup ubuntu tar xvf /backup/MY_VOLUME.tar -C /data -p -strip 1 cannot install the best update candidate for package, has inferior architecture. When I try to restore my volume with the command below, I’m getting the error message: “Cannot utime: Operation not permitted”. I sended this file to other machine that runs a linux based system. docker run -rm -volume MY_VOLUME:/data -volume %cd%:/backup ubuntu tar cvf /backup/MY_VOLUME.tar /data When I inspect the file using 7-zip, I can see that the files have no user assigned and root group assigned to them. When unpacking the files, it geneated errors saying that /bin/tar couldnt seet utime (operation not permitted). I have made a backup to a tar file using the command below and all seeing to work. My happiness was short-lived, to say the least.

Is that error really the cause of the crashing, as nothing else seems to be wrong.I have a docker volume created in a windows system. I read on a different forum someone said I can put a usleep(500) in the pbx_spool.c file to give the system enough time to write the file, which should fix the issue, but I cannot find the pbx_spool.c file to make the change.

Read Write Execute for everyone seems to be off. I feel like there's something wrong with those permissions though. Note: The group is usually just your username. So all 65 stations, making 35-60 calls an hour each with this error seems to be bogging down the system. You could try (from the command line, but I'm sure there's a syntax in python): sudo chown yourusername:yourgroupname filename. In my case the nf file was overwritten during the OS update and httpd no longer had. It creates the etx.call file locally, then does a mv to the outgoing folder. Ran into the same issue after I updated the OS on my local.

We wrote a little perl script that my call center software uses. Error 1 (0x00000001) (Not owner) in execution of system call utime with parameter (/sapmnt/Pbx_spool.c:309 safe_append: Unable to set utime on /var/spool/asterisk/outgoing/243.call: Operation not permitted My Engineer and I both believe it has to do with the following error:

By crash, I mean all the lines “unregister” and the web page becomes unavailable, but people on the phones can continue talking until the call is completed. I am in a bit of a pickle… It seems our PBX likes to crash 2-3 times a day.
